PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville will host its first annual Women in Sports Banquet on Tuesday, March 4 in Velzy Commons. The event will celebrate the achievements of Pioneer women student-athletes while financially enhancing the eight NCAA women sports programs at UW-Platteville.

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – Three members of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville women’s soccer team were named to the 2024 United Soccer Coaches NCAA DIII All-Region Team on Tuesday afternoon. Senior Arianna Lombardi earned Second Team All-Region honors, with sophomores Lexi Ward and Jess Morawski each tabbed Fourth Team.

LA CROSSE, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville women’s soccer team (14-3-4, 4-0-3 WIAC) fell 2-1 to UW-La Crosse (16-3-2, 6-0-1 WIAC) in the WIAC Championship game on Saturday evening from Veterans Memorial Field Sports Complex in La Crosse.

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – Four University of Wisconsin-Platteville women’s soccer players were named to the 2024 All-WIAC Team it was announced on Thursday afternoon. Receiving the honors were seniors Arianna Lombardi and Lydia Smith and sophomores Jess Morawski and Madison Way, with Way also earning a share of the Kwik Trip Goalkeeper of the Year award. Sophomore Lexi Ward picked up WIAC Honorable Mention, while senior Samantha Yexley was named to the All-Sportsmanship Team.

OSHKOSH, Wis. – Down 1-0 at the half, a pair of second-half goals secured a 2-1 triumph for the University of Wisconsin-Platteville women’s soccer team on Saturday afternoon at J.J. Keller Field at Titan Stadium. With the win, the Pioneers (13-2-4, 4-0-3 WIAC) lock down the #2 seed, going into the WIAC Championship while also breaking the program record for most wins in a season with 13.

WHITEWATER, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville women’s soccer team (11-2-4, 2-0-3 WIAC) battled UW-Whitewater (5-7-5, 1-2-2) to a scoreless draw on Wednesday night from Robert W. Fiskum Field in Whitewater.

DUBUQUE, Iowa – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville women’s soccer team (9-2-1) outshot Dubuque (5-2-3) by a tally of 20-10 but failed to break through in a 1-0 loss on Wednesday night from Oyen Field in Dubuque, Iowa.

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville women’s soccer team (9-1-1) fell 2-1 while on the road at the University of California Santa Cruz (4-2-3).

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville women’s soccer team (9-0-1) continued its impressive start to the season by getting past Central (Iowa) (7-3-0) by a final score of 3-2 on Wednesday evening from Ralph E. Davis Pioneer Stadium.

WAVERLY, Iowa – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville women’s soccer team (8-0-1) got back in the win column on Saturday with a 3-1 road win over Wartburg (2-4-1) from Salzwedel Field in Waverly, Iowa.
