PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – Junior Ella Mackiewicz of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville women’s basketball team was named to the 2024-25 WIAC Honorable Mention team the league announced on Wednesday. Senior Barb Kling picked up All-Sportsmanship honors from the conference.

OSHKOSH, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville women’s basketball team fell 60-44 Saturday afternoon at the Kolf Sports Center to No. 4 nationally ranked UW-Oshkosh. The Pioneers (7-7, 1-2 WIAC) kept it a two-possession game all the way until a Titans (14-0, 3-0 WIAC) buzzer beater at the half, and it wasn’t until an 8-2 run at the start of the fourth quarter that UW-Oshkosh pulled ahead for good.

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – After the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse (8-5, 0-2 WIAC) scored the first 17 points of the game, the University of Wisconsin-Platteville women’s basketball team (7-6, 1-1 WIAC) bounced back in the second quarter and went on to defeat the Eagles 63-60 Wednesday night on Bo Ryan Court.

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville women’s basketball team (6-6, 0-1) lost its WIAC opener, 62-44, Saturday afternoon to UW-Stevens Point (11-1, 1-0) on Bo Ryan Court.
