Spindle, Streeter Named Academic All-District
PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – Junior Anna Spindle and sophomore Izzy Streeter of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville women’s soccer team have been named to the Academic All-District Team as selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC) it was announced on Tuesday.

The 2023 Academic All-District teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their performances on both the field and in the classroom. To be nominated, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher and be in sophomore, junior, or senior standing.
Spindle, a civil engineering major, was named WIAC Honorable Mention following a season that saw her start all 18 games. The junior helped the Pioneers allow just 14 goals on the season, the second fewest in the conference. Spindle scored twice on the season in early season wins over Edgewood and Coe.
Streeter, a biology major, played in all 18 games for the Pioneers. The sophomore finished with 12 shots and six shots on goal during the season.
Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced in early December.
