PLATTEVILLE, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-Platteville Athletic Department and its 16 teams join the UW-Platteville campus in kicking off the 9th annual Pioneers Day of Giving! The event officially starts at 10 a.m. on Thursday and runs through noon on Friday.

LA CROSSE, Wis. – Playing in their first WIAC Championship, the University of Wisconsin-Platteville women’s soccer team (10-3-5) fell to top-seeded UW-La Crosse (17-1-1) on Saturday afternoon by a score of 3-0 from Veterans Memorial Field in La Crosse.

Behind two goals midway through the first half, the Eagles (10-1-0, 2-0-0) defeated the Pioneers (4-2-3, 0-1-1) 2-0 at Veterans Memorial Field.
