PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – Senior David Cushman and freshman Kain Killmer of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville wrestling team were recognized as National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) 2025 NCAA Division III Scholar All-Americans this past week.

WHITEWATER, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville team competed at the 70th annual Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference wrestling championships Saturday in the Williams Center. The Pioneers finished fifth as a team with 25.5 points.

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – Four University of Wisconsin-Platteville wrestlers finished in the top-six of their brackets on Saturday at the UW-Eau Claire Don Parker Open. The tournament marks the final competition before the WIAC Championships next Friday.

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville wrestling team fell 49-3 Friday night to fifth-ranked UW-Eau Claire in the Sonnentag Event Center. Competing in their final dual of the season, the Pioneers finish 1-7 including 1-4 in the WIAC while the Blugolds finish 17-1 and 4-1 in the league.

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville will host its first annual Women in Sports Banquet on Tuesday, March 4 in Velzy Commons. The event will celebrate the achievements of Pioneer women student-athletes while financially enhancing the eight NCAA women sports programs at UW-Platteville.

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville wrestling team competed against the Milwaukee School of Engineering Tuesday night in the annual Throwdown in the Theatre. The Raiders picked up three wins by pin fall in the Center for the Arts to pull ahead and win the dual 31-19 over the Pioneers.

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – Following a brazen start, the University of Wisconsin-Platteville wrestling team fell 26-18 to UW-Stevens Point after the Pointers made a huge comeback Wednesday night in Williams Fieldhouse. As part of the annual Headlocking Hunger dual, the team collected hundreds of food items to be donated to the local food pantry, just in time for the holiday season.

LA CROSSE, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville wrestling team dropped its WIAC opener on Saturday 52-0 to No. 2 nationally ranked UW-La Crosse. The dual started at 174 pounds and was hosted at Mukwonago High School. The Pioneers will return to action on Wednesday, December 11 when they host UW-Stevens Point at 7 p.m. in the home opener.
