2012-13 UW-Platteville Women's Golf News

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. -- For the 13th consecutive year, the University of Wisconsin-Platteville student-athletes had a higher grade-point average than the student body as a whole. The Pioneer student-athletes compiled an 2.934 grade-point average for the 2012-13 academic year, above the general student body overall grade-point average of 2.874.

Pioneer freshman Taylor Egnarski was named to the Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar Team.

Seniors Kelsey Lieving and Kellsey Welter finished second and third, respectively, at the Augie Invite at Emeis Golf Course on Saturday. The University of Wisconsin-Platteville golf team wrapped up its spring season, shooting a collective 349 to finish first in front of Monmouth (363) and host Augustana (366).

The UW-Platteville women's golf team finished third out of five teams in the UW-Whitewater Spring Fling at the Delbrook Golf Course in Delavan, Wis.
