2012 All-WIAC Women's Golf Team Announced
University of Wisconsin-Stout’s Brittany McNett-Emmerich
received Player of the Year honors to lead the 10 individuals on
the 2012 All-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC)
Women’s Golf Team.
The team was determined by using the NCAA Division III GolfStat
rankings immediately following the conclusion of the conference
championship. A player must have completed eight rounds in
order to be eligible.
UW-Platteville senior, Kellsey Welter, was named to the All-WIAC Second Team, after leading the Pioneers at the WIAC Championship just a few weeks ago. Welter was named to the All-WIAC Tournament Team after shooting a 54-hole total of 254, +38 (83-84-87). It is the third top-20 finish at the WIAC Championship for the Kaukauna, Wisconsin native. Welter had 25 pars to go along with two birdies throughout the 54-hole tournament. Kellsey finished the fall portion of her season with a stroke average of 85.8.
