MADISON, Wis. – After what was arguably the best season for the UW-Platteville softball program in the past decade, five Pioneers were recognized by the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) for their individual efforts.
PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – The Pioneers took the first game of a doubleheader with UW-Oshkosh Saturday afternoon to keep their WIAC playoff hopes alive.
LA CROSSE, Wis. – In what were essentially must win games for UW-Platteville to keep their WIAC playoff hopes alive, the Pioneers held off UW-La Crosse for a doubleheader sweep at North Campus Field.
MILWAUKEE, Wis. – On a perfect afternoon for softball at Neumann Family Field, Pioneer freshmen Ashton Hoeppner put herself in the UW-Platteville record book by becoming the eighth pitcher in program history to throw a no-hitter and the first since Maggie Mediicott in 2008.
MENOMONIE FALLS, Wis. – There were only six combined runs over 15 innings of play in UW-Platteville’s back-to-back 2-1 losses Sunday afternoon at UW-Stout.
PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – A four-run top of the first inning sent UW-Platteville on their way to a 10-2 game one win over UW-River Falls Saturday afternoon at the UW-Platteville Softball Complex.
