Men's Track & Field - Matt Hokanson, Sophomore (Cedarburg, Wis.) - Hokanson won the 400 meter hurdles at the UW-Platteville Invitational on April 12th. His time of 54.16 was a .98-second personal record and put him at the top of the WIAC honor roll. His time also ranks him 15th on the NCAA National List. |

Softball - Rachel Martin, Junior (Naperville, Ill./Naperville North), Firstbaseman - Martin hit a team-leading .583 (7-for-12) with two doubles, a triple, and five RBI in a pair of UW-Platteville doubleheader sweeps. In the Pioneers' 3-1 win of the backend of the doubleheader at Cornell College on April 10, Martin had a three-hit game that included the game winning two RBI double she rocketed off the left field fence. Two days later in UW-Platteville's 9-2 game two win over the University of Dubuque, Martin finished a long-ball short of the cycle. She picked up a single in the second inning, RBI double in the third, and RBI triple in the fourth for her second three-hit game in three appearances. |

Softball - Ashton Hoeppner, Freshman (Winona, Minn./Winona Senior), Pitcher - Hoeppner went 2-0, recorded a save, and combined for a 0.47 ERA in three appearances to help the Pioneers go 4-0 on the week. Holding onto a 2-0 game one lead at Cornell on April 10, Hoeppner came on to pitch seventh inning for the save. In game two she put together a one-run, complete game effort while striking out ten in the Pioneers' 3-1 win. On April 12 in UW-Platteville's 6-0 game one win over Dubuque, Hoeppner threw a four hit shutout, striking out six and walking just one. |

Women's Track & Field - Katie Schilling, Freshman (Saint Peter, Minn.) - Schilling won the 100 meter hurdles this past weekend at the UW-Platteville Invitational. Her time of 15.30 seconds keeps her at four on the WIAC honor roll. |
