PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville will host its first annual Women in Sports Banquet on Tuesday, March 4 in Velzy Commons. The event will celebrate the achievements of Pioneer women student-athletes while financially enhancing the eight NCAA women sports programs at UW-Platteville.

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – Juniors Kierney McDonald and Bri Gartner of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville volleyball team were named to the College Sport Communicators (CSC) 2024 Academic All-District Team on Tuesday afternoon.

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – Senior Emma Carlson and junior Kierney McDonald of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville volleyball team were recognized as American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-American on Wednesday morning the organization announced. Carlson was named All-American Third Team, while McDonald was tabbed Honorable Mention.
WHITEWATER, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville volleyball team’s historic season came to a close Saturday night in the NCAA Regional Championship. Making just their second ever Sweet 16 appearance in program history, the Pioneers (27-7) fell in three sets to top-seeded UW-Whitewater in Kris Russell Volleyball Arena.
WHITEWATER, Wis. – For just the second time in program history, the University of Wisconsin-Platteville volleyball team will compete in the NCAA DIII Sweet 16 after defeating Washington University (Mo.) (29-7) in four sets Friday evening. The Pioneers (27-6) took an early two-set lead and finished strong to advance to the regional championship by scores of 25-20, 25-18, 18-25, and 25-17.

WHITEWATER, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville volleyball team is advancing to the Second Round of the NCAA Championship after sweeping Edgewood College on Thursday afternoon in Kris Russell Volleyball Arena. The Pioneers (26-6) defeated the Eagles (24-10) by scores of 25-18, 25-16 and 25-17.

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – For the eighth time in program history and first since 2010, the University of Wisconsin-Platteville volleyball team will play in the NCAA DIII Tournament after earning an at-large bid following the selection show on Monday afternoon. The Pioneers will take on Edgewood in the opening round from Whitewater, Wisconsin on Thursday.

OSHKOSH, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville volleyball team (25-5, 4-3 WIAC) exited the WIAC Tournament Thursday night after falling in five sets to No. 5 nationally ranked UW-Oshkosh (25-4, 6-1, WIAC). Behind 14 team blocks across the match and a 20-18 fifth set, the No. 17 Pioneers denied the Titans of an easy route to the conference title match.

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville volleyball team defeated UW-Eau Claire in three straight sets Tuesday night at The Sonnentag Event Center to advance to the WIAC Tournament Semifinals this Thursday in Oshkosh. The five seed Pioneers (25-5, 4-3 WIAC) defeated the four seed Blugolds (20-8, 4-3 WIAC) by scores of 25-18, 25-17, and 25-23.
PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville volleyball team picked up another sweep on Friday night, this time against UW-Stevens Point inside Williams Fieldhouse. The Pioneers (23-5, 3-3 WIAC) defeated the Pointers (19-9, 5-1 WIAC) 25-10, 26-24, and 25-20.

CHICAGO, Ill. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville volleyball team (23-5) picked up a pair of wins at on Saturday evening, sweeping Carthage (14-11) in the team’s first match of the day before taking down North Park (12-15) in four sets inside North Park Gymnasium in Chicago.

WHITEWATER, Wis. – The 17th-ranked University of Wisconsin-Platteville volleyball team (21-5, 3-3 WIAC) was swept by 5th-ranked UW-Whitewater (21-3, 4-2 WIAC) on Wednesday night inside the Kris Russell Volleyball Arena in Whitewater.

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville volleyball team picked up its second sweep this week against UW-La Crosse on Friday night at Williams Fieldhouse. The Pioneers (21-4, 3-2 WIAC) defeated the Eagles (6-17, 0-4 WIAC) 25-14, 25-16, and 25-19.

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville volleyball team cruised to a Tuesday night sweep at Coe College. The Pioneers (20-4) swept the Kohawks (16-7) 25-11, 26-24, and 25-16 inside Kohawk Arena.

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – After trailing two sets to none, the University of Wisconsin-Platteville volleyball team rallied and forced fourth and fifth sets on Wednesday at Williams Fieldhouse. The Pioneers (19-3, 2-2 WIAC) comeback ultimately fell short as UW-Eau Claire (15-6, 2-2 WIAC) cruised to a fifth set victory.
