Why did you choose UW-Platteville? I chose UW-Platteville because it was the best school that offered my forensic investigation major and was still close to home.

Platteville, Wis.- Junior Kelli Schneider, a member of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville women’s track and field program, was one of many who tuned into the popular crime scene investigation shows that littered televisions since the 2000s. It was her love of watching the shows that got her interested in crime scene investigation (CSI), a summer program and class that sealed the deal for her.

Dubuque, Iowa - The UW-Platteville track and field team competed at the Sol Butler Classic hosted by the University of Dubuque on Friday, February 18. Student-athletes, coaches, and spectators took part in recognizing Black History Month. Several personal best marks and times were set, as were school records and a facility record.
Platteville, Wis. - The Pioneer track and field team hosted the UW-Platteville Invitational on Saturday, February 12. Among several other great performances, Williams Fieldhouse erupted in excitement when senior Bryce Bierman cleared 2.05m (6-8.75). Bierman ranks sixth in the national ranking with that clearance.
Stevens Point, Wis. – The 2022 indoor track and field season began for the Pioneers at the WIAC Triangular hosted by UW-Stevens Point on Saturday, January 22. The Pioneer track and field men’s and women’s teams showed the potential for many personal best times and marks to come this season.
