2019: Threw a season best in the weight throw of 14.27m (46-10) and 13.43m (44-0.75) in the shot put...Took 6th place in the discus with a mark of 48.30m (158-5) at the WIAC Outdoor Championships...Qualified to the WIAC Outdoor Championships in the shot put (12.73m, 24th place) and hammer throw (43.63, 21st place)...Qualified to the NCAA DIII Outdoor Championships in the discus with a personal best mark of 52.50m (172-3) and placed 19th at the championships with a mark of 44.00m (144-4).

Greensboro, N.C. - Qualifying to the 2021 NCAA DIII Outdoor Track and Field Championships in of itself is a massive accomplishment. After seeing cancellations of the 2020 NCAA DIII indoor and outdoor track and field competitions, track and field athletes everywhere were ready to finish what they started. Competing for the Pioneers were Ben Veverka, Alexander Walechka, Justin Eichler, Katie Schilling, and Brianna Leahy.

Platteville, Wis.- The University of Wisconsin-Platteville track and field program will send five individuals to the 2021 NCAA Division III Outdoor National Championships in Greensboro, North Carolina. The meet begins Thursday, May 27 and will finish Saturday, May 29.

River Falls, Wis. – Saturday, May 8, the Pioneers continued competition on day two of the WIAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships hosted at UW-River Falls. In team scores, the men and women’s team finished in seventh place with 50 and 45 points respectively. Placing among the top three in their events, receiving All-Conference honors are Katie Schilling, Brianna Leahy, and Alexander Walechka.

Whitewater, Wis. – The Pioneers competed in one last regular season dual against the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater Warhawks. In anticipation for the last indoor meet of the season, Pioneers were chasing down opportunities to see personal bests, but also rank in the top 12 in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC). The top 12 student-athletes in each event on the performance list will be competing at one last meet at UW-Whitewater to give a finale to the unusual 2021 indoor track and field season.

Stevens Point, Wis. – The Pioneers traveled to the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point for the third dual indoor track and field of the 2021 season. Several Pioneers set new personal best and season best performances.

Stevens Point, Wis. – The Pioneers and Pointers came together this weekend to compete at the second indoor track and field dual meet of the season. Traveling up to UW – Stevens Point, the UW – Platteville men’s and women’s track and field teams saw many improvements from the week 1 competition. For the underclassmen, the dual meet setting continues to serve as a learning opportunity.

Whitewater, Wis. – It had been 337 days since the University of Wisconsin – Platteville track and field team competed in a meet. Without a doubt, student-athletes and coaches alike were excited to take to the track today and get back into competition mode. The Pioneers traveled to the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater Saturday, Feb. 6 to compete in a dual meet against the Warhawks. Given the nature of the small setting, it was a perfect opportunity for underclassmen as well as upperclassmen to become in tune with their current fitness levels.
