The Raiders picked up three wins by pin fall in the Center for the Arts to pull ahead and win the dual 31-19 over the Pioneers.

LA CROSSE, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville wrestling team dropped its WIAC opener on Saturday 52-0 to No. 2 nationally ranked UW-La Crosse. The dual started at 174 pounds and was hosted at Mukwonago High School. The Pioneers will return to action on Wednesday, December 11 when they host UW-Stevens Point at 7 p.m. in the home opener.

Senior David Cushman took first place at 157 pounds as he won four straight bouts featuring one pin, one major decision and two sudden victories.
