HERSHEY, Pa. -- The Pioneer wrestling team had a tough showing at nationals, but junior 125-pound Cole Ferguson managed to earn an elite victory before falling to the national champion.

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – The Pioneers are sending three wrestlers to the ultimate destination in Hershey, PA for the 2015 NCAA Division III Wrestling National Championships.

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. —Three University of Wisconsin-Platteville wrestlers earned second place in their respective weight classes at the NCAA Division III West Regional Feb. 28, qualifying for a trip to the national championships.

OSHKOSH, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville wrestling team brought home one conference champion, Trenton Larson, and one double overtime runner-up, Cole Ferguson, Sunday at Kolf Sports Center in Oshkosh for the WIAC wrestling championship.

The highlights for the University of Wisconsin-Platteville’s wrestling team, at the Loras Duhawk Open, came from Pioneers’ sophomore 285-pound Brandon Boyle and senior 174-pound Trent Larson.

After a tough performance at the most recent Pioneer wrestling duals, UW-Platteville came out on Saturday and swept the Muskie Quad, defeating St. Johns (Minn.) 35-11, Lakeland College 31-17, and MSOE 35-19.

The University of Wisconsin-Platteville wrestling team fell to Auguastana 34-9 and Dubuque 41-0 Thursday at Williams Fieldhouse.

The UW-Platteville wrestling team finished third at the Max Servies Duals with a 3-1 record on Saturday.

The UW-Platteville wrestling team fell to Simpson College, 20-18, and North Central College, 24-10, before beating Knox College, 39-12, at the Knox College Duals on Saturday.

Pins by Aaric Spencer, Cody Meyer and Brandon Boyle led the UW-Platteville wrestling team past UW-Oshkosh, 29-13, on Wednesday at Kolf Sports Center.

The University of Wisconsin-Platteville wrestling team fell to UW-Stevens Point, 31-9, on Friday night.

The start time for the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) dual between UW-Stevens Point and UW-Platteville has been pushed back to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 12.

D3Wrestle.com ranked the University of Wisconsin-Platteville’s Cole Ferguson 10th at 125 pounds in their Week 3 individual national rankings.

Cole Ferguson took first at the MSOE Invitational as the UW-Platteville wrestling team placed third out of 10 teams on Saturday.

UW-Eau Claire came back to slip past the UW-Platteville wrestling team 24-23, on Thursday.

UW-Platteville wrestling team totaled four place winners at the Coe Turkey Open on Saturday in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
