PLATTEVILLE, Wis. –Junior Brynlee Nelson and sophomore Ella Mackiewicz, Madalyn Reichmann, and Ashley Weir of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville women’s basketball team were named to the College Sport Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team it was announced on Tuesday.

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – Hosting their first home conference tournament game in nearly a decade, the University of Wisconsin-Platteville women’s basketball team was eliminated from the WIAC Tournament (presented by Culver’s) Monday night after falling 81-71 to UW-La Crosse on Bo Ryan Court.

WHITEWATER, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville women’s basketball team ultimately fell 82-72 on Wednesday night to No. 9 nationally ranked UW-Whitewater inside the Williams Center. With the exception of the second quarter, the Pioneers (14-10, 7-6 WIAC) outshot the Warhawks (21-3, 10-3 WIAC) in each period, averaged 51.6 percent from the field in the second-half alone, but were plagued by fouls most of the night where the Warhawks went on to make 20-of-24 free throw attempts.

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville women’s basketball team secured a home WIAC Tournament game with a 59-55 victory over UW-Stevens Point Saturday afternoon.
