Why did you choose UW-Platteville? I chose UW-Platteville for the great campus feel, being far enough away but still close to home, small class sizes, and great athletic programs.

Winneconne, Wis. - Hosted at Lake Breeze Golf Course by the University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh, the NCAA DIII Midwest Regional Championships were preceeded by snowfall for the second year now. The Pioneers, no strangers to the snow and mud, executed the tough racing conditions. Capitalizing on his senior year, Zach Klokow finished in 5th place of the 252 total runners. Klokow ran 24:49.1 - a lifetime personal best in the 8,000m race.

CUBA CITY, Wis. – On a course that two days ago would have been better suited to host a cross country skiing meet rather than a cross country meet, the University of Wisconsin-Platteville hosted the 2019 WIAC Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Championship presented by Culver’s at Cole Acres Golf Course in rural Cuba City, Wisconsin.
Ettrick, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin – Platteville cross country team ran in the Drews/Neubauer Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 19. Over 20 teams showed up for the men’s and women’s races, making for a competitive race among over 300 runners despite the rainy conditions.
Colfax, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin – Platteville men’s and women’s cross country team competed at the Blugold Invitational on Friday, Oct. 4. Hosted by UW-Eau Claire, the event included 29 teams in the men’s 8,000m race and 27 teams in the women’s 6,000m race. As a team, the Pioneer men finished 13th and the Pioneer women finished 15th. All eight of the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference teams were present.
Cuba City, Wis. - The Pioneers hosted UW-Stevens Point and a spattering of alumni at the Gender Equity Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 28 at Cole Acres Golf Course. The men's 8,000m race began at 10:30 a.m., and two minutes and forty seconds later the women's 6,000m race began. By the end, men and women battled their way across the finish line.
