Bio

Brandon Pink is a Platteville native who developed an early connection to soccer, playing for the Platteville Soccer Club and Madison FC in his youth. At Platteville High School, he earned four varsity letters and was part of the 2006 team that competed in the Wisconsin state tournament.

Pink began coaching in 2008 with the Platteville Soccer Club's U14 and U19 boys teams while pursuing his coaching education. He earned his USSF D license in 2019. His collegiate coaching experience started in 2011 as an assistant coach for UW-Platteville men's soccer under Head Coach Enzo Fuschino, where his responsibilities included working with summer camps and the Pioneer Futsal Academy.

In 2012, Pink was appointed head coach of the Platteville/Lancaster High School boys soccer program, a position he held for nine seasons. He became head coach of the PLHS girls program in 2016, a role he continues to maintain. Under his leadership, these programs have accumulated over 200 wins, 13 conference championships, 2 WIAA Regional titles, numerous WSCA Division 3 top-10 rankings, and 14 conference players of the year.

Pink returned to UW-Platteville men's soccer as assistant coach for the 2024 NCAA season. The team finished the regular season ranked #14 nationally and advanced to the Sweet 16 in the NCAA tournament. His areas of coaching expertise are in-game tactical analysis and coaching the possession phase of play, although his role has a broad range of responsibilities complementing the work of Head Coach Tinney and Associate Head Coach Corcoran.

Pink holds a BA in Social Sciences and Secondary Education from UW-Platteville and an MS in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis from UW-Madison. He currently teaches history at Platteville High School and resides in Kieler with his wife, Sarah. He remains committed to education in both athletic and academic settings, focusing on developing players and staff in all aspects of their lives.
