Brandon Pink is a native of Platteville and grew up playing and watching soccer from a young age. As a player, Pink spent time with the Platteville Soccer Club and Madison FC and he was a four-year letterwinner for Platteville High School, including the squad that competed in the Wisconsin state tournament in 2006.
Pink's coaching career began in 2008 with the Platteville Soccer Club's U14 and U19 boys teams. During that time he began his USSF courses and earned his D license in 2019. In the fall of 2011, he served as the assistant coach for the UW-Platteville men's team under head coach Enzo Fuschino. His duties included working with the Pioneer men's soccer summer camps and the Pioneer Futsal Academy.
Pink was appointed the head coach of the Platteville/Lancaster High School boys soccer program for the Fall 2012 season, a role he held for the next nine seasons. In the spring of 2016, he was appointed head coach for the PLHS girls program, a position he still holds. During his tenure with both the boys and girls programs, Pink’s teams have amassed over 200 wins, 13 conference championships, 2 WIAA Regional titles, multiple WSCA Division 3 top-10 rankings, and 14 conference players of the year, among other honors.
Pink currently lives in Kieler with his wife, Sarah. He earned his BA in Social Sciences and Seconday Education from UW-Platteville, and his MS in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis from UW-Madison. In addition to coaching soccer, Pink also teaches history at Platteville High School. Education is his passion, both on the soccer field and in the classroom. He is excited to once again be working with Pioneer men's soccer and helping players and staff become the best versions of themselves athletically, academically, and personally.
