The UW-Platteville men's soccer team fell 2-0 to 12th-ranked UW-Whitewater Wednesday night in Pioneer Stadium.
UW-Whitewater's Ryan Richgels scored off a free kick assist from Trevor Swentik in 17th minute. The Warhawks would get some breathing room from a 30-yard blast from Logan Fye with 20 minutes left in the game.
The Pioneer defense only allowed four shots on goal, while the Warhawks only allowed five total shots.
The Pioneers play on Saturday at 3 p.m. against visting UW-Superior to end its eight-game homestand.
