Platteville, Wis.- The University of Wisconsin-Platteville football held its annual end of season banquet on Jan. 23. The Pioneers handed out 14 individual awards, recognized those who received post-season honors, and thanked 19 seniors for their contributions to the Pioneer football program. The Pioneers finished the 2021 season with back-to-back wins and a 4-6 record.

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville football team defeated the University of Wisconsin-Stout 35-28 in a thrilling senior day game in Ralph E. Davis Pioneer Stadium. Two late interceptions by the Pioneers, a huge defensive stop just shy of a tying touchdown at the end of the first half and a 25-yard pass for a touchdown on 4th and 4 were among the game-changing plays which kept fans on the edge of their seats during a chilling November football game in southwest Wisconsin.

The Pioneers handed the Grizzlies their first loss of the season to enter WIAC play 1-2 overall while Franklin is now 2-1.

ARDEN HILLS, Minn. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville football team took No. 17 nationally ranked Bethel University into the fourth quarter tied 7-7 Saturday afternoon in Royal Stadium. The Royals eventually took advantage of a pair of turnovers late in the game to emerge with the 28-7 Bethel victory.
