Platteville, Wis.- The University of Wisconsin-Platteville football held its annual end of season banquet on Jan. 23. The Pioneers handed out 14 individual awards, recognized those who received post-season honors, and thanked 19 seniors for their contributions to the Pioneer football program. The Pioneers finished the 2021 season with back-to-back wins and a 4-6 record.

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville football team defeated the University of Wisconsin-Stout 35-28 in a thrilling senior day game in Ralph E. Davis Pioneer Stadium. Two late interceptions by the Pioneers, a huge defensive stop just shy of a tying touchdown at the end of the first half and a 25-yard pass for a touchdown on 4th and 4 were among the game-changing plays which kept fans on the edge of their seats during a chilling November football game in southwest Wisconsin.

Platteville outscores Blugolds 35-13 in 2nd half in a high-scoring affair, 55-28, at Carson Park in Eau Claire on Saturday afternoon. The Pioneers improved to 3-6 on the season (2-4 in the WIAC) while the Blugolds fell to 3-6 (1-5 in the WIAC).

RIVER FALLS, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville football team fell short, 31-28 in another back-and-forth conference game against the current WIAC leading offense of UW-River Falls. Davis Pioneer Stadium for a 6 p.m. kick on Thursday, Sept. 2, it will be 656 days since the Pioneers last competed in a game. Head Coach Mike Emendorfer is in his 23rd year at UW-Platteville and returns seven starters on the offensive side of the ball, led by All-Conference senior quarterback Colin Schuetz, senior wide receiver Donald Allender and senior offensive lineman Carter Brehm.
