Terrill is no stranger to Platteville, as he was an assistant coach for the Pioneers from 2002-05. He spent six seasons as an assistant at WIAC for UW-Oshkosh. 

"Bringing Joe on board is huge. He is a tremendous upper-weight coach who shares my motivational approach and passion for coaching young men to be champions, on and off the mat," said DeRoehn. "Having worked together in the past, he also brings familiarity with our training program along with numerous positive ties to the local wrestling community."
