Ash named All-WIAC
PLATTEVILLE, Wis. - Senior Markie Ash earned All-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference honors for the 2021-22 women's golf season. This is Ash's first All-WIAC First Team selection and second overall selection after being named to the 2019-20 Second Team.
PLATTEVILLE, Wis. - Senior Markie Ash earned All-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference honors for the 2021-22 women's golf season. This is Ash's first All-WIAC First Team selection and second overall selection after being named to the 2019-20 Second Team.
The team was determined by using a combination of the WIAC Championship results from the fall (50 percent) and the last Golfstat Adjusted Scoring Average rankings (50 percent) prior to the NCAA Championship. A player must have completed a minimum of eight rounds in order to be considered for the All-Conference Team.
A Newcomer of the Year is defined as a student-athlete who used her first season of participation in women's golf this season. Transfers are not eligible unless they didn't participate in women's golf at their previous institution. A player must have completed a minimum of six rounds in order to qualify for this award.
