Ash named second team All-WIAC
Sophomore Markie Ash was named to the All-WIAC Second Team based on her NCAA III Golfstat rankings and record setting performance for the Pioneers.
Sophomore Markie Ash was named to the All-WIAC Second Team based on her NCAA III Golfstat rankings and a fourth place finish at the WIAC Championships. Ash recorded a stroke average of 80.85 which was the lowest in program history.
Ash led the team to three 1st place finishes and a fifth place finish at the WIAC Championships. The team tied the 18-hole program record of 324 behind Ash's score of 83.
Individually, Ash had two rounds that were good for top 10 in program history. On August 31st, Ash shot a 77 in the opening round of the season at the Oshkosh Country Club and lead the Pioneers to a 2nd place finish on the day.
In the WIAC Championships, Ash shot a 79, 74 and 80 to place fourth individually. Her day two score of 74 was the fourth best round in program history and, at the time, moved her into a tie for first place in the WIAC Championship Tournament.
