Golf in seventh after day two of WIAC Championship
UW-Platteville women’s golf team are in seventh-place after the second day of the WIAC Championships on Saturday at Lake Arrowhead Golf Course.
NEKOOSA, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville women's golf team are in seventh-place after the second day of the WIAC Championships on Saturday at Lake Arrowhead Golf Course.
The Pioneers scored a 370 for a 36-hole total of 739 (+155) and are behind UW-Eau Claire, who took over first-place with a 338 on day two and are +89 (673) for the championship.
Individually, sophomore Taylor Egnarski and freshman Sydney Kilcoin are tied in 21st-place with a 182 (+36) after two rounds. Junior Katie Gregorich carded a 94 on Saturday and is tied for 26th with a 187 (+41). Freshman Stephanie Baribeau cut four strokes from her 96 on Friday and is tied for 30th with a 188 (+42). Sophomore Ashley Moralesimproved by five strokes on the second day with a 205 (+59) over the two days for 47th-place.
The Pioneers will wrap up their fall season with the final round of the WIAC Championships on Sunday.
