Golf in sixth-place after day one of WIAC Championship
UW--Platteville women's golf team are in sixth-place after the first day of the WIAC Women's Golf Championship on Friday at the Lake Arrowhead Golf Course.
NEKOOSA, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville women's golf team are in sixth-place after the first day of the WIAC Women's Golf Championship on Friday at the Lake Arrowhead Golf Course.
UW-Stout leads after day one with a 333 (+41) while the Pioneers scored a 369 (+77).
Individually, sophomore Taylor Egnarski led the team with an 89 (+16) tied for 14th after the first 18 holes. Freshman Sydney Kilcoin carded a 91 (+18), tied for 17th and junior Katie Gregorich is just two shots behind Kilcoin with a 91 and tied for 26th. Freshman Stephanie Baribeau scored a 96 (+23), while Ashley Morales shot a 105 (+32).
The Pioneers will look to move up in the standings on Saturday and are seven shots behind UW-River Falls.
