Pioneers vs. Texas-Dallas

UW-Platteville lost its first game at the Texas-Tyler Tournament to Texas-Dallas 78-64.
The Pioneers were able to take a 17-11 lead with 10 minutes left in the first half before the Comets went on a 24-9 run to end the half 35-26. UW-Platteville couldn't go on a big enough run to cut the Comets lead to less than 6 points in the second half.
UW-Platteville's Lisa Grantman led the team with 23 points and 6 rebounds. Grantman went 5-8 from beyond the arc and 6-6 from the charity stripe. Grantman was followed by Charity Stotmeister with 15 points and 5 rebounds.
Rachel Addison led the Comets with 18 points and 8 rebounds. Addison was followed by Lauren Hale 17 points and 9 rebounds also with Chelsea Edwards 14 points.
UW-Platteville will face Texas-Tyler on Saturday at 1 p.m.
