2018-19: Appeared in 6 games as a true freshman...WIAC All-Academic. Majoring in Criminal Justice and Forensic Investigation. 

2019-20: Appeared in 18 games…averaged 2.0 points per game… scored a career and season high at UW-Whitewater…was 3-3 from the field, 2-2 from the three-point line and 2-2 from the free throw line...WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll member. 

2020-21: Appeared in 9 games...averaged 2.7 points per game...shot 54.5% from the field...WIAC All-Academic

The whole team has a close bond and we always build each other up.

What is your nickname? How did you get it and who gave it to you?

Aspie. My parents called me that when I was younger and always have ever since.

Who are the role models in your life and why?

My parents becayse they work extremely hard for what they love. They show passion and dedication in everything they do. Also, Brian Jordan made a huge impact in my life. Hw was like a second dad and spent hours upon hours in the gym with me.

Who or what inspired you to play basketball and why?

My grandpa because he was a high school basketball coach and always pushed me to be the best that I could be.

If you were a superhero, what would your name be and what superpower would you have?

Spectacular Spen. Make everyone have a positive indmet and bring positive energy.

Pre-game rituals or game day superstitions:

Jimmy Johns or Subway.

Describe yourself in 3 words.

Honest, Hardworking and passionate.

What advice would you give to future pioneers?

Don't take your time for granted. Your closest friends will be ones on the team and you only get four years so use it wisely. Don't get down on yourself!

If you won a million dollars what would you buy?

Donate to the special Olympics.

What is one of the things you would put on your bucket list?

Travel to every country.

What place would you like to visit most?

Bora Bora.

What are your hobbies away from basketball?

Karate, playing my ukulele/ guitar and hanging out with family/friends.

Saints/ Drew Brees.

The Grinch.

OSHKOSH, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-Platteville women’s basketball team used a 24-11 run in the final 8 minutes of the game to knock off defending WIAC champion UW-Oshkosh, 74-68, in Oshkosh Wednesday night. The match-up was the season opener for both teams. Forward Maiah Domask (Sr. / Waupun Wis.), led a trio of Pioneer scorers in double figures with 18.

Platteville, Wis.- University of Wisconsin-Platteville women’s basketball junior Aspyn Stewart knew she wanted to do something in law enforcement and forensic investigation when she was a freshman at Stockton High School in Stockton, Illinois.  Her father is chief of police in Stockton, so she has been around law enforcement most of her life.  After her freshman year at UW-Platteville, Stewart began working at Apple Canyon Lake (ACL) where she put her law enforcement knowledge to work and learned new skills.
