Domask earns All-WIAC, Horstman and Williams receive WIAC honors
PLATTEVILLE, Wis. - Junior Maiah Domask earned her spot on the All-WIAC Women's Basketball Team for the second consecutive year. Senior Morgan Horstman received All-WIAC Honorable Mention and Senior Maddy Williams earned a spot on the WIAC All-Sportsmanship team.
PLATTEVILLE, Wis. - Junior Maiah Domask earned her spot on the All-WIAC Women's Basketball Team for the second consecutive year. Senior Morgan Horstman received All-WIAC Honorable Mention and Senior Maddy Williams earned a spot on the WIAC All-Sportsmanship team. The Pioneers recorded their best record (12-13) in the past five seasons.
Domask led the Pioneers with an average of 15.5 points and 9.1 rebounds per game to earn her second consecutive All-WIAC nod. Domask had a WIAC-high 12 double-doubles (including 5 straight). In conference play, Domask ranked second in scoring (14.4 points/game) and first in rebounding (9.4/game) with the second ranked player at 6.8/game. Domask came it at ninth in conference with a 44.6% field goal percentage.
Domask's top performances:
-11/19 vs. Wartburg - 22 points, 10 rebounds & took two late charges to help seal the upset victory over then #4 Wartburg. She shot 56.3% (9-of-16) from the field.
-1/15 @ UW-Stevens Point - 26 points and 11 rebounds including a putback go-ahead basket with :13 left in OT. She shot 54.5% (12-of-22) from the field.
-1/29 @ UW-Oshkosh - 14 points and 12 rebounds in the overtime road win. Domask helped the Pioneers snap a 15-game losing streak to the Titans.
Horstman averaged 13 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game to earn All-WIAC Honorable Mention. This was Horstman's second WIAC honor after being named All-WIAC in 2019. Horstman played and started in 24 of the Pioneers' 25 games this season. In conference play, Horstman ranked 12th in scoring (11 points/game).

-11/12 @ Concordia (WI) - 26 points, seven rebounds and a steal while shooting 75% (9-of-12) from the field. Horstman shot 2-of-3 from three-point range and knocked down six free throws.
-11/15 vs. Fontbonne - 15 points, 11 rebounds and two assists to record her lone double-double of the season. She shot 62.5% (5-of-8) from the field in the win.
-11/19 vs. Wartburg - 21 points, two assists and four steals to take down then #4 Wartburg. She shot 46.2% (6-of-13) from the field and 100% (9-of-9) from the free throw line.
Williams played and started all 25 of the Pioneers' games in her senior season to earn her WIAC All-Sportsmanship award. Williams averaged 4.2 points and 3.1 rebounds per game while shooting an impressive 56.6% from the field.
Williams's top performances:
-11/12 @ Concordia (WI) - 10 points and four rebounds while shooting 75% (3-of-4) from the field and 100% (4-of-4) from the free throw line.
-12/11 vs. Ripon - 10 points in just 15 minutes of play while shooting 100% (5-of-5) from the field.
