Taddy to be inducted into USTFCCCA NCAA Division III Hall of Fame
Platteville, Wis. - University of Wisconsin-Platteville cross country Assistant Coach Marcia Taddy will be inducted into the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association’s Hall of Fame. Taddy competed in cross country and track and field for the Pioneers from 2004-2007. Taddy was a 17 time All-American and won eight national championships in track. She was twice named national track athlete of the year. She was a two-time All-American in cross country.

Taddy was a 17 time All-American and won eight national championships in track. She was twice named national track athlete of the year. She was a two-time All-American in cross country.
Taddy was the 2006 NCAA Midwest Regional Athlete of the Year in cross country and a three-time NCAA Division III All-Region and All-WIAC selection. Taddy won the WIAC Cross Country Championship in 2006 and was named the 2006 WIAC Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
Taddy holds the school record for the 800-meter, 1,000-meter, 1,500-meter, mile and 3,000-meter indoor records and the 1,500-meter outdoor record. She also holds records with her relay teammates in the indoor distance medley, outdoor distance medley, outdoor sprint medley and the outdoor 4x800 relay.
She is only the seventh woman in the WIAC to be inducted into the USTFCCCA Hall of Fame.
Taddy, a Two Rivers, Wisconsin native joined the Pioneers coaching staff in 2021.
