2019: Ran a personal best time of 9.23 seconds in the 60m hurdles, 1:01.2 in the indoor 400m, and a personal best mark of 10.53m (34-6.75) in the triple jump...Qualified to the WIAC Indoor Championships in the 60m hurdles (9.35, 9th place) and 4x400m relay (4:04.88, 6th place)...Champion in the 400m hurdles at the WIAC Outdoor Championships...Placed 6th in the 100m hurdles and 7th in the 4x400m relay at the WIAC Outdoor Championships.

Platteville, Wis.- The NCAA’s campaign slogan in the early 2000’s was “there are over 380,000 student-athletes, and most of us go pro in something other than sports.”  University of Wisconsin-Platteville senior to be Katie Schilling is a student-athlete who will go pro in something other than sports.  Schilling is member of the track and field program and will enter her senior season looking to build off her past success on the track.

Oshkosh, Wis. – The Pioneers competed on day two of the WIAC Indoor Track and Field Championships, crowning two event champions – Noah Steiner in the high jump and Charlie Gifford in the 60-meter hurdles. The UW-Platteville men’s track and field team scored 39 points in team scores, and placed seventh in the conference. The Pioneer women’s track and field team also finished in seventh place as a team, scoring 36 points.

Oshkosh, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin – Platteville track and field team began day one of competition at the WIAC Indoor Track and Field Championships, hosted by UW-Oshkosh. When it comes to track and field, the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) is arguably one of the most competitive conferences in the NCAA DIII. Highlighting the day, senior Johanna Meister ran for second place in the women's mile. The Pioneers will return to the Kolf Sports Center on Saturday with competition beginning at 10 a.m.

Platteville, Wis. – Williams Fieldhouse hosted the UW-Platteville Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 15. Teams in attendance included Concordia, University of Dubuque, Loras College, Beloit College, Hawkeye Community College, and Clarke University. With two weeks until the WIAC Indoor Track and Field Championships, the Pioneers look to execute performances to qualify to the conference championships.

Ripon, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin – Platteville men’s and women’s track and field teams competed at the Red Hawk Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 8. Rounding off the third week of the indoor season, several Pioneers continued to see improvements in their performances.

Platteville, Wis. - The Pioneer track and field team hosted the Pioneer Open on Saturday, Feb. 1 at Williams Fieldhouse. Teams in attendance included Clarke University, University of Dubuque, Edgewood College, Lakeland College, St. Ambrose University, Milwaukee School of Engineering, and Wisconsin Lutheran. The Pioneers also traveled four athletes to compete in the pentathlon and heptathlon at the Leonard "Squig" Converse Invitational at UW-Whitewater.
