Five selected for All-Wisconsin State Team, Enzo Fuschino named Coach of the Year
Logan Rinderknecht and Jon Stopple have both earned All-Wisconsin First Team after being announced as All-Region selections last week.
Logan Rinderknecht and Jon Stopple both earned All-Wisconsin First Team after being announced as All-Region selections last week. Rinderknecht and Stopple were the top scorers for the Pioneers, and had four game winning goals each. This is Rinderknechts' third All-Wisconsin selection.
In addition to earning First Team honors, Stopple was named All-Wisconsin Sportsmen of the Year.
Defenders Nick Hoklas and Tommy Bitter earned Second Team honors as anchors of a Pioneer defense that gave up only 4.7 shots on goal per game. This is Bitter's second honor after being a 2016 All-Wisconsin selection.
Goal keeper Nate Miller was also named Second Team, earning his first All-Wisconsin honors. The Racine native allowed just 1.24 goals per game. He had seven shutouts on the season including a five save performance in the Pioneers' NCAA Tournament first round win.
In his 11th season at the helm of men's soccer at UW-Platteville, Head Coach Enzo Fuschino has been named Wisconsin State Coach of the Year. This season he led the Pioneers to their third NCAA Tournament appearance since taking over the program in 2007, and has compiled a 34-14-5 record over the last three seasons. Coach Fuschino was also named WIAC Coach of the Year in 2012. The Pioneers were 4-1 against in-state opponents this season.
