PLATTEVILLE, Wis. — The University of Wisconsin-Platteville Pioneers defeated the University of Dubuque 2-0 on Wednesday Sept. 27 at Ralph E. Davis Pioneer Stadium.
The first goal scored was unassisted and completed by Jon Stopple. The second goal was scored by Ivan Khamenka, assisted by Logan Rinderknecht. The Pioneers have now put up three consecutive shutouts and extended their winning streak to eight games, the programs longest since 2008.
The Pioneers improve to 8-1 and Dubuque moves to 5-3-1.
UW-Platteville seeks to continue their winning ways against St. Norbert on Sunday, Oct. 1, at Ralph E. Davis Pioneer Stadium at 2 p.m.
