The University of Wisconsin-Platteville soccer team beat host Staten Island College 2-0 Saturday to successfully conclude a trip to New York.
Logan Rinderknecht scored both Pioneer goals in the second half. He knocked home a rebound shot at 60:40, and then took a feed from Jake Stevens and scored in the 81st minute. Nate Miller earned the victory in the nets, making two saves.
The 1-1 Pioneers make another weekend trip, traveling to the Twin Cities to play Hamline Friday and Augsburg Sunday.
