The University of Wisconsin-Platteville men’s soccer team defeated Aurora University 3-1 Sunday afternoon at Vago Field.

AURORA Ill. - The University of Wisconsin-Platteville men's soccer team defeated Aurora University 3-1 Sunday afternoon at Vago Field.
Sophomore forward Dominc Taldone scored first for UW-Platteville, striking it in halfway through the first half. Freshman midfielder Braxton Rottinghaus was given the assist.
Aurora tied the game five minutes into the second half.
Sophomore midfielder Logan Rinderknecht took over and notched two second half goals. Freshman midfielder Bryan Hart and Sophomore midfielder Matthew Huftalin were given the assists.
Freshman goalie Nate Miller played all 90 minutes and stopped 7 shots.
The Pioneers moved to 10–5 overall while Aurora dropped to 4-7-1 overall.
UW-Platteville will travel to UW-Whitewater on Oct.16 at 1p.m. for its next game.
