Men’s soccer continues win streak against Wisconsin Lutheran
The University of Wisconsin-Platteville men’s soccer team defeated Wisconsin Lutheran 2-1 on Saturday in Milwaukee, Wis., winning the last three games.

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. — The University of Wisconsin-Platteville men's soccer team defeated Wisconsin Lutheran 2-1 on Saturday in Milwaukee, Wis., winning the last three games.
Freshman Logan Rinderknecht recorded both assists for the Pioneers, who improved to an overall record of 6-2-3 for the season.
In the first fifteen minutes of the game, junior Jon Stopple scored his fourth goal of the season off a through ball from Rinderknecht to take the Pioneers up 1-0 heading into halftime.
When play continued in the second half, Wisconsin Lutheran logged their lone goal off a free kick before junior Pioneer Alex Bach responded with his fourth goal of the season, putting it in the left corner of the goal from six yards out to give the Pioneers the 2-1 victory.
Senior goalkeeper Scott Sibik recorded six saves in the win, giving him a .780 save percentage for the season.
The Pioneers return to action on Wednesday, Oct. 7 against the University of Dubuque at Ralph E. Davis Pioneer Stadium at 7 p.m.
