Men’s soccer shuts out North Central 1-0
The University of Wisconsin-Platteville men’s soccer team defeated North Central College 1-0 on Saturday at Ralph E. Davis Pioneer Stadium.

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. — The University of Wisconsin-Platteville men's soccer team defeated North Central College 1-0 on Saturday at Ralph E. Davis Pioneer Stadium.
In the first half, Pioneer freshman midfielder Nick Hoklas scored the lone goal of the game off his head from a pass from freshman forward Logan Rinderknecht.
After the Pioneers went up 1-0, the Cardinals couldn't respond in the second half, giving the Pioneers the definite win.
Senior goalkeeper Scott Sibik played well for the Pioneers, who improved to 3-1-3. Sibik recorded four saves in the shut out win.
The Pioneers return to action on Wednesday, Sept. 23 at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa at 7:30 p.m.
