Mark Ciszewski and Brandon Chmiel each scored twice to lead the UW-Platteville men's soccer team to a 6-0 rout of Cornell College on Saturday evening at Pioneer Stadium.
UW-Platteville (3-1) jumped out to a 3-0 advantage in the first half as Chmiel scored twice and Mark Feltner added a goal. The Pioneer attack controlled the contest with a decisive 29-0 advantage in shots including an 11-0 mark in shots on goal.
Ciszewski scored just 38 seconds into the second half and a second goal in the 53rd minute to stretch the margin to 5-0. The final goal of the evening came when Austin Klemm found the back of the net in the 88th minute to close out the 6-0 win.
Next up for UW-Platteville is a 1:30 p.m. tilt on Sunday, Sept. 9 against Grinnell at Pioneer Stadium.
