UW-Platteville announces WIAC Men’s Basketball Championship Game ticket information

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville Athletic Department announces ticket information for the WIAC Men's Basketball Championship Game (presented by Culver's). The Pioneers men's basketball team advanced to Saturday's championship game with a 61-51 victory over UW-La Crosse Thursday night and will host UW-Stevens Point on Saturday, Feb. 23 at 5 p.m. in Bo Ryan Court.

Tickets for Saturday's championship game will go on sale on Friday, Feb. 22 at 8 a.m. in the Athletic Department main office located in Williams Fieldhouse.  Tickets may be purchased in the main office from 8 a.m.- 4 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m.-noon on Saturday.  All transactions must be paid with cash or check only.  The ticket window will open at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 23 for day-of-event sales. All transactions at the Ticket Window are cash or check only.

Season ticket holders and booster members can purchase their assigned seats in the Athletic Department Office of Williams Fieldhouse via cash or check during the following times:

8 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22 

9 a.m.-noon on Saturday, Feb. 23

All sales are cash or check only for season ticket holders and booster members.  After noon on Saturday, all unpurchased season ticket seats will be released for sale starting at 3:30 p.m.

Parents and family ticket holders who received complimentary tickets in the regular season must now pay for their seats which are $7/ticket. 

A group of 300 tickets will be released on a first come first served basis to UW-Platteville students on Friday, Feb. 22 at 10 a.m. Students may pick up their ticket at the Athletic Department Office in Williams Fieldhouse.  Each student may only pick up one ticket and must show valid UW-Platteville I.D.  After the 300 tickets have been claimed, all remaining students must purchase a $3 ticket for the event.

Visiting Fans

A group of 300 tickets will be reserved for UW-Stevens Point fans and may be purchased at the visiting team ticket table starting at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 23.  Visting team seats are located behind the visiting team bench. All ticket transactions may be paid with cash or check only.
