PLATTEVILLE, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-Platteville football team had 11 players receive All-WIAC recognition for their efforts during the 2021 season. The Pioneers finished the year with a 4-6 record.

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville football team defeated the University of Wisconsin-Stout 35-28 in a thrilling senior day game in Ralph E. Davis Pioneer Stadium. Two late interceptions by the Pioneers, a huge defensive stop just shy of a tying touchdown at the end of the first half and a 25-yard pass for a touchdown on 4th and 4 were among the game-changing plays which kept fans on the edge of their seats during a chilling November football game in southwest Wisconsin.

Platteville outscores Blugolds 35-13 in 2nd half in a high-scoring affair, 55-28, at Carson Park in Eau Claire on Saturday afternoon. The Pioneers improved to 3-6 on the season (2-4 in the WIAC) while the Blugolds fell to 3-6 (1-5 in the WIAC).

RIVER FALLS, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville football team fell short, 31-28 in another back-and-forth conference game against the current WIAC leading offense of UW-River Falls. The teams remained tied at the half, but in the end the Falcons held on to a three-point lead to hand the Pioneers their third conference loss of the year by a three-point or fewer margin.

The Pioneers (1-3, 0-1) rallied back from a 21-3 deficit in the first quarter and drew within one possession of the Titans (3-0, 1-0) with three minutes remaining in the game at Ralph E. Davis Pioneer Stadium.

ARDEN HILLS, Minn. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville football team took No. 17 nationally ranked Bethel University into the fourth quarter tied 7-7 Saturday afternoon in Royal Stadium. The Royals eventually took advantage of a pair of turnovers late in the game to emerge with the 28-7 Bethel victory.

Davis Pioneer Stadium for the 2021 season opener against the Tigers of East Texas Baptist. Head Coach Mike Emendorfer is in his 23rd year at UW-Platteville and returns seven starters on the offensive side of the ball, led by All-Conference senior quarterback Colin Schuetz, senior wide receiver Donald Allender and senior offensive lineman Carter Brehm.
