PLATTEVILLE, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-Platteville football team had 11 players receive All-WIAC recognition for their efforts during the 2021 season. The Pioneers finished the year with a 4-6 record.

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville football team defeated the University of Wisconsin-Stout 35-28 in a thrilling senior day game in Ralph E. Davis Pioneer Stadium. Two late interceptions by the Pioneers, a huge defensive stop just shy of a tying touchdown at the end of the first half and a 25-yard pass for a touchdown on 4th and 4 were among the game-changing plays which kept fans on the edge of their seats during a chilling November football game in southwest Wisconsin.

Platteville, Wis.- University of Wisconsin-Platteville football senior Hunter Grams knew he wanted to be a veterinarian working with large animals for as long as he can remember. Grams enrolled at UW-Platteville out of Lodi High School to begin his athletic and academic career, with the goal of becoming the veterinarian he has always wanted to be.

RIVER FALLS, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville football team fell short, 31-28 in another back-and-forth conference game against the current WIAC leading offense of UW-River Falls. The teams remained tied at the half, but in the end the Falcons held on to a three-point lead to hand the Pioneers their third conference loss of the year by a three-point or fewer margin.

PLATTEVILLE – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville football team defeated UW-Stevens Point 45-21 in the 92nd annual Homecoming game on Saturday at Ralph E. Davis Pioneer Stadium. The Pioneers have won 10 of the last 12 homecoming games and the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference victory improves the Pioneers' all-time Homecoming record to 49-39-4.

Platteville, Wis.- The University of Wisconsin-Platteville football team named six captains for the 2021 season. Offensive captains are senior wide receiver Donald Allender and senior quarterback Colin Schuetz. Senior defensive back Drew Hoff, sophomore defensive lineman Justin Blazek and senior defensive lineman Logan Ketelhut were named defensive captains. Junior punter Hunter Grams was named special teams captain.
