Litchfield Named WIAC Special Teams Player of the Week

The University of Wisconsin-Platteville's Zach Litchfield earned his second Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Special Teams Player of the Week honors, announced by the league office on Tuesday.
Litchfield kicked a pair of field goals and converted all seven of his extra-point attempts in UW-Platteville's 57-7 victory at UW-Stevens Point on Nov. 10. His field goal conversions were from 23 yards in the second quarter and 32 yards in the fourth quarter. The Waupaca, Wis. native, ranked fourth in the WIAC in points with 72 points, including 51 extra points and seven field goals.
Litchfield and the Pioneers finished the season ranked 12th in the nation and posted their best record since 1976 at 8-2.
