What do you plan to bring to the UW-Platteville baseball program in 2020?
I plan to bring a positive attitude and the motivation to do whatever I can to help the team win whatever my role may be.

What is your nickname? How did you get it and who gave it to you?
My nickname is "Ship" which was given to me many years ago by a couple of former teammates.

Who are the role models in your life and why?
My role models are my parents and grandparents as they've sacrificed a lot through my life to make sure I'm not only able to play the sport I love but to also help me live a life that not everyone is fortunate enough to have.

Who or what inspired you to play baseball and why?
I had the urge to try t-ball when I was younger, and everything fell into place from there!

Favorite baseball moment as a Pioneer or in high school if you are a freshman?
My favorite baseball moment in high school was probably sophomore year when my team went to the state tournament.

If you were a superhero what would your name be and what superpower would you have?
I would be captain Caffeine and have the ability to keep myself awake during my 8 am classes.

Pre-game rituals or game day superstitions:
I always have to listen to music on my way to the ball field

What advice would you give to future Pioneers?
Go to class and stay on top of homework. Missing classes can be an easy thing to do, but it ends up making the class 10 times more difficult in the future

If you won a million dollars what would you buy?
I would buy a Jeep Grand Wagoneer and use the rest of the money to help my family out in any way I could

What is one thing you would put on your bucket list?
Travel to all 50 US states

What place would you like to visit most?
Disney World!

What are your hobbies away from baseball?
I love tinkering with cars and motorcycles

Milwaukee Brewers, Jonathan Lucroy

Lincoln

Do you have any pets? If yes, what kind and what are their names?
I have a dog named Belvedere!

If you could be any animal, what would you be and why?
I would be a dog because the thought of sleeping whenever I want and getting treats for learning how to sit sound amazing.

Is there anything you like to eat or any food combination you have been called "weird" for liking?
I like to eat mayo with my fries. Don't knock it till you try it.
