Emily Ryan is in her third season as head women's soccer coach.  Ryan has served as the interim women's soccer head coach since the 2017 season.

"I am pleased to announce that Emily Ryan will be the next Head Women's Soccer Coach at UW-Platteville. Emily has demonstrated a commitment to build a successful soccer program, recruit the Tri-State area, and bring excitement and energy and experience to this position." Ealy commented.

This past season, her efforts led the Pioneers to the first WIAC tournament appearance since 2013 when Ryan was a senior on the team. In 19 games, the Pioneers recorded 48 goals (a 21 goal improvement from the 2017 campaign), 30 assists, and five shutouts.  They averaged 2.53 goals per game which is second best in program history behind the 1994 team's 2.60 goals per game average.

Ealy stated, "As an alum and former assistant coach here at UW-Platteville, Coach Ryan is familiar with our campus and community and believes in Pioneer Athletics and giving our student-athletes a great experience.  Emily is excited to continue to grow our program and create a championship culture here at UW-Platteville, building on this past season's successes."
