Cross Country Teams Earn USTFCCCA All-Academic Honors
PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced its Academic Teams for the 2022 cross country season, with both the University of Wisconsin-Platteville men’s and women’s cross country teams earning the honor.
PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced its Academic Teams for the 2022 cross country season, with both the University of Wisconsin-Platteville men's and women's cross country teams earning the honor.
The women's cross country team achieved a team grade point average of 3.504 while the men earned a 3.382. Since this award was established, the women's team has collected this honor 27 times across 30 opportunities. The men have been awarded this distinction 13 of the past 23 years, and 15 out of 30 since its inception.
To be recognized by the USTFCCCA, teams were required to have a 3.1 cumulative grade point average.
