Cross Country Alumni Meet set for Sept. 10th

The University of Wisconsin-Platteville men's and women's cross country teams will be hosting their annual Alumni Open Meet on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Cole Acres Golf Course in Cuba City, WI. Please note that this our second year at this new location necessitated by damage to Memorial Park on campus from last year’s tornado.

Cross Country Alumni Meet set for Sept. 10th

The University of Wisconsin-Platteville men's and women's cross country teams will be hosting their annual Alumni Open Meet on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Cole Acres Golf Course in Cuba City, WI. Please note that this our second year at this new location necessitated by damage to Memorial Park on campus from last year's tornado.

The meet will begin with the women's 5K race starting at 9:00 a.m. followed by the men's 4 Mile race starting at 9:35 a.m. Alumni are encouraged to email entries to assistant coach, Andres Young at youngan@uwplatt.edu or call at (608)342-1263. This is an open meet so your significant others are also welcome to participate. The more runners the better challenge to our current student-athletes.
After the meet the traditional Alumni Picnic will start at approximately Noon at Valley View Park, which is located just east of the Pioneer Stadium. Please let us know if you plan to attend and how many will be in your party. Kids are welcome. Bring a dish to pass. We will provide buns, burgers, brats, beverages, condiments and tableware.
