UW-Platteville’s LaMere qualifies to run at NCAA Cross Country Nationals.

The NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Track and Field Committee announced Sunday the team and individual qualifiers for the 2012 Division III Men's and Women's Cross Country Championships.

In order to be eligible to participate in the championships, teams and individuals must qualify in their respective NCAA regions.   The Univeristy of Wisconsin – Platteville's Ian LaMere did just that with his finish this past weekend at the Winneconne Golf Course in Oshkosh, WI.  The Green Bay, WI native finished with a time of 24:58 which was good enough for a 18^th place finish overall.  The freshman, LaMere, will run November 17^th in LaVern Gibson Cross Country Course located in Terre Haute, IN.
