Pioneer cross country run at NCAA Regionals.

The University of Wisconsin – Platteville Men and Women Cross Country team ran Saturday at the NCAA Regionals in Oshkosh, WI at the Winneconne Golf Course.  The Women's team placed 20^th in a field of 40 teams.  The top five individuals for the Pioneers were junior Megan Knutson (101th, 23:55), freshman Teagan Seneczko, (103^rd, 23:57), freshman Kiera Depies (126^th, 24:27), junior Olivia Bukowski (133^rd, 24:36), and freshman Connie Spyropoulos (150^th, 24:51).  The Men's team finished 8^th overall in a field of 39 teams.  The top five individuals for the men were freshman Ian LaMere (18^th, 24:58), sophomore Joel Walden (23^rd, 25:07), sophomore Sam Poser (39^th, 25:23), senior Matt Borneman (73^rd , 26:07), and senior Derek Fahrenkrug (74^th , 26:08).
