Volleyball falls to Oshkosh in Childhood Cancer Awareness Night
PLATTEVILLE, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-Platteville Volleyball team fell to Oshkosh 16-25, 21-25, 17-25 in a night to raise awareness for Childhood Cancer.

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-Platteville Volleyball team fell to Oshkosh 16-25, 21-25, 17-25 in a night to raise awareness for Childhood Cancer.
The Pioneers fall to 11-4 (1-1 WIAC) while the Titans improve to 12-3 (2-0 WIAC).
On a night that the Pioneers stuggled offensively, junior Hailey Youngren delivered seven kills and zero errors which led to her .467 hitting percentage. As a team the Pioneers hit .026 and allowed .134 defensively.
The Pioneers managed a .116 hitting percentage in the second set to work themselves back into the match but weren't able to transfer the success over to the third set.
Freshmen Stephanie Kalinowski and Taylor Ohm led in the backcourt to finish with 15 and 10 digs, respectively. Sophomore Kaite Asche led the team with four blocks.
The Pioneers head to Nebraska Wesleyan this weekend to compete in the Wolfpack Invite. On Friday they face Johnson & Wales at 5:30 pm and Nebraska Wesleyan at 7:30. On Saturday the Pioneers face Central at 12:00 pm.
