Volleyball goes 1-1 on day two to wrap up the Pacific Coast Classic, Kudronowicz All-Tournament
CLAREMONT, Calif. - The University of Wisconsin-Platteville Volleyball team split their matches on Saturday with a 3-0 victory over Cal Lutheran and an 0-3 loss to Chapman. Sophomore Olivia Kudronowicz earned All-Tournament recognition for her performance throughout the weekend.

CLAREMONT, Calif. - The University of Wisconsin-Platteville Volleyball team split their matches on Saturday with a 3-0 victory over Cal Lutheran and an 0-3 loss to Chapman. Sophomore Olivia Kudronowicz earned All-Tournament recognition for her performance throughout the weekend.
The Pioneers record moves to 2-2 for the season.
In the win over Cal Lutheran, the Pioneers combined for an impressive 49 kills with only six errors which added up to a .484 hitting percentage. The Regals were held to a .084 team hitting percentage.
Sophomores Kaite Asche and Kudronowicz each had 13 kills with .600 and .565 hitting percentages, respectively. Asche added one solo and five block assists while Kudronowicz led the team with 15 digs.
Senior Katie Jones had six kills on just nine swings and sophomore Lita Solbrig had five kills without an error. Freshman Stephanie Kalinowski led the team with three service aces and had 14 digs.
In the loss to Chapman, the Pioneers weren't able to get the offense clicking at a high level. Jones had the most efficient hitting percentage (.267) and finished with six kills and added one solo and two block assists. Freshman Sam Rossetti provided a spark in the second and third sets and contributed 13 assists and two block assists in limited playing time.
The Pioneers host Loras on Tuesday, September 3rd at 7:00 pm.
